stereo-get

About

This is a script for downloading a days worth of images from the STEREO mission.

Usage


     stereo-get TYPE DATE RESOLUTION output_dir


     -TYPE is one of: 171, 195, 284, 304, COR1, COR2, HI1 or HI2

     -DATE is of the format YYYYMMDD (You want 2007 onwards)

     -RESOLUTION is one of: 128, 256, 512,1024 or 2048

Requirements

You will need LWP (most versions of GNU/Linux will have a version of perl with it included). If you do not then:


     perl -MCPAN -e shell
     get LWP

And that should do the job. unzip will need to be in your path.

ToDo

Optionally delete images when you do not have a STEREO pair
Be more gracious if we don't get any images (lack of zip file)
