Bacon in Toasted Baps
A traditional favourite - Bacon cooked on the shovel. These are ideal to share with your crew of Fireman, Guard, Signalman keeping one for yourself.
Ingredients
1 Packet Backon (8 Rashers)
4 White Crusty Baps
Preparation method
Split the buns in half and hang over convinent taps in the cab.
Warm the shovel in the fire for a few seconds and then wipe with a clean cloth to remove the coal dust.
Place the bacon on the shovel and hold above the fire until cooked - turn every now and again - cook to taste.
Place the bacon in the baps.
